the "you suck award" is proudly presented, by me, to anyone who digs up something that makes me envious, jealous, or just plain excited about the find(s)...congratulations...."you suck"!

Ihave a 250, use it sparingly, use the 1500 and the XLT before, I would get a MXT over a 250 tho, might trade it in some day

go out and dig something

what do you use RR? big difference in the two. i do have the ace-250 and it has its place under the heading of "coin magnet". (p.s. up to 4-5 inches ) just my opinion. wish it had a vdi .

Ace 250 - my first detector. Had it 3 months. Have 4 silver rings and $70.00 in clad, an 1891 nickel, a 1791 LC and a 1948 dime. It seems to be reliable to 6 inches. any signal that shows 8+ inches is very suspect. I bought one for my nephew's birthday.

I use the Ace 250 and the MXT. I switch off, depending on my mood but also depending on the location. This weekend I'll probably use the MXT to MD around some old houses. The Ace is usually used in the parks and baseball diamonds. RR

Hello WDB-CPA: Your right about being suspect of targets coming beyond 6 ins. In the parks and ball fields they tend to be deep rusted cans, at least thats been my experience. Thats when the garrett 1500 and 2500 imaging feature comes in handy. RR
